Cookie Policy

This page explains how the Deal Direct website uses cookies and similar browser storage. The short version: we do not track you. We use no analytics, advertising, social media pixels, A/B testing tools or any other third-party trackers.

Last updated: 10 June 2026

The only thing we store is a record of the consent choice you make in our cookie banner, kept locally in your own browser. It is strictly necessary, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else.

Deal Direct, ul. Szopena 15A, 35-055 Rzeszów, Poland (VAT/NIP 7011182250) is the controller of any personal data processed through this site. You can reach us via our contact page or by e-mail at office@dealdirect.pl.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files that a website can ask your browser to store. Local storage is a related browser feature that lets a site keep a small amount of information on your device. Both are commonly used to remember preferences or — on many sites — to track behaviour across pages and visits.

On this site we use neither for tracking. We use a single item of local storage for one narrow, strictly necessary purpose: remembering the consent choice you make in our cookie banner so we do not ask you again on every page.

What we actually store

We store exactly one thing, in your browser's localStorage: a record of your cookie-consent choice. This lets the banner remember whether you accepted or rejected non-essential categories.

This record stays in your browser. It is not a tracking cookie, it carries no identifier that follows you around, and it is not sent to us or to any third party. If you clear your browser storage, the choice is forgotten and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

Our consent banner presents three categories. We show all of them so the controls are clear and ready, but today only the first is in use:

  • Necessary (always active) — the consent record described above. This is required for the site to work and to honour your choice, so it cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics (not currently used) — we set no analytics cookies and run no analytics tools at all. This category exists only so that, if we ever add analytics, it stays disabled until you choose to allow it.
  • Marketing (not currently used) — we set no marketing or advertising cookies, and use no advertising or social media trackers. As with analytics, the category is present only so that any future use would stay off until you consent.

On your first visit we show a cookie banner with three options: Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Preferences (to review the categories individually). Because we set no analytics or marketing cookies today, accepting and rejecting have the same practical effect right now — nothing extra is loaded either way. The control is there so your preference is respected the moment any non-essential cookie might ever be introduced.

You can change your choice at any time by reopening the banner's Preferences, where you can update or withdraw your consent. Clearing this site's browser storage also resets your choice, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

No third-party requests

The fonts used on this site are self-hosted — they are served from our own server rather than from Google Fonts or any other external provider. Loading our pages therefore makes no request to a third party and sets nothing on your device from anyone other than us. Because nothing is loaded from outside the EU, this site involves no international transfer of your data.

We also use no embedded videos, social media widgets, advertising scripts or tag managers. The only outbound links are to the founders' LinkedIn profiles. LinkedIn is a separate service governed by its own policies; we have no control over what it does once you follow such a link.

Server logs

Separately from cookies, our web host may process limited technical data — such as your IP address, the time of your request and your browser's user agent — as part of delivering the site and keeping it secure. This is standard for any website and is not done through cookies or trackers placed on your device. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site for this (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR/RODO).

Controlling cookies in your browser

You are always in control. Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies and local storage, and block or restrict them — usually under settings named Privacy, Security or Site data. Clearing this site's storage will remove your saved consent choice; clearing all browsing data will also do so.

Because we set no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies, blocking them has no effect on how this site works for you. The only stored item is the consent record, and the site functions normally with or without it.

More information and your rights

This policy covers cookies and browser storage. How we handle the personal data you send us — for example through the contact form — is governed by the same controller named above. We use that information solely to respond to your enquiry, relying on the steps needed to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR/RODO) and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). We carry out no automated decision-making or profiling.

If you have questions, write to us at office@dealdirect.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO).

Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce new technologies — for example analytics, or a form-delivery service acting as a processor on our behalf — we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before anything non-essential is set.
