This is an English-language informational website about the custom software, integrations and automation we build for the energy & renewables sector. We keep data collection to a minimum: the only personal data you actively give us is what you send through our contact form, alongside the limited technical data any web server processes to serve a page. We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party trackers. This policy is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), known in Poland as RODO.

Who we are (the controller)

The controller of your personal data is Deal Direct. For anything relating to this policy or your data, including requests to exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; enquiries are handled directly by us.

  • Deal Direct, ul. Szopena 15A, 35-055 Rzeszów, Poland
  • NIP (VAT ID): 7011182250
  • E-mail: office@dealdirect.pl

What personal data we collect, and how

We collect personal data in two ways: directly, when you fill in and send our contact form, and automatically, through the standard technical logs created when your browser requests a page.

Through the contact form we collect the information you choose to provide:

  • Full name
  • Company
  • Work e-mail address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • The topic you select
  • The free-text message describing your enquiry

Technical and log data

When you visit the site, our web host may process limited technical data needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure — for example your IP address, the time of the request, and your browser's user-agent string. This is standard server-log information. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to identify you beyond what is necessary for delivery and security.

We use the contact-form data solely to read, understand and respond to your enquiry, and to take any pre-contractual steps you ask for. We use technical and log data only to deliver the website and to keep it secure. We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR/RODO:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) — handling your enquiry and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries, and in keeping the website available and secure.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only for as long as we need it to handle your request and any related follow-up, plus a reasonable period afterwards in case the conversation continues. When the data is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it. Technical server logs are kept only for the limited time our host retains them for delivery and security purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for marketing. The only party that processes your data on our behalf is our web hosting provider, which delivers the site and processes the technical server logs described above. The contact form currently composes an e-mail to office@dealdirect.pl; in future we may use a dedicated form-delivery service, which would act as a processor under our instructions. Apart from such processors, we do not disclose your data to anyone, except where we are legally required to do so.

No third-party analytics, trackers or fonts

This website does not use analytics, advertising networks, third-party trackers, social-media embeds or pixels, or A/B testing tools. The web fonts used on the site are self-hosted — served from our own server — so loading a page does not send a request to Google Fonts or any other third party. As a result, no browsing data is shared with such services.

Some pages link to the founders' LinkedIn profiles. LinkedIn is a separate service with its own privacy policy and terms; this policy does not cover how LinkedIn or any other linked site handles your data.

International transfers

We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area. Because our fonts are self-hosted and we use no third-party analytics or marketing tools, operating this site does not send your data to providers in other countries.

Your rights

Under the GDPR/RODO you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Access — to know whether we hold your data and to obtain a copy.
  • Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Erasure — to have your data deleted where the law allows.
  • Restriction — to limit how we use your data in certain cases.
  • Objection — to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Portability — to receive certain data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, e-mail us at office@dealdirect.pl. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO). We would, of course, welcome the chance to address your concern first.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set any tracking or marketing cookies. The site stores a single strictly-necessary item in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie-consent choice. A consent banner appears on your first visit with options to Accept all, Reject non-essential, or open Preferences. The Preferences panel presents three categories:

The Analytics and Marketing controls exist so that, if we ever add such tools, they remain disabled until you consent. They set no cookies today.

  • Necessary — always on; covers the single item that remembers your consent choice.
  • Analytics — not currently used; no analytics cookies are set today.
  • Marketing — not currently used; no marketing cookies are set today.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a feature or change how the site works. When we do, we will revise the date below. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
